The Institute offers a four-year outcomes-based curriculum in Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science that equips students in the fundamentals of medical laboratory science.It trains students to be globally-competent in the performance of basic and advanced laboratory test procedures and analyses which aids in the screening, diagnosis, prevention and treatment, and maintenance of optimum health. The program also provides a profound training in scientific research, instrumentations, and community related activities.It consists of general education courses and professional courses like Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology and Clinical Parasitology, Clinical Microscopy, Hematology, Serology and Immunology, Immunohematology (Blood Banking), Histopathology, and Molecular Biology and Diagnostics.A comprehensive hospital internship program for one year in accredited training laboratories will be offered during the fourth-year level with weekly seminar updates for special topics and Medical Technology assessment program.We emphasize on teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives.

For online requests, please email your details (name, college, year, and section) to [email protected].The fee for the Good Moral Certificate ranges from 100.00 to 150.00 PHP.For Certified True Copy of Grades, please visit the Registrar's Office located on the first floor, left wing of the Wang Building.The fee for the Certified True Copy of Grades starts at 180.00 PHP and is only accessible through in-person transactions.
For changing units, please first consult with your respective class advisers to discuss the reasons for the change. Your class adviser will guide you through the process, including connecting you with your departmentβs chair-level representatives, who will assist with the necessary steps.Make sure to prepare any supporting documents or explanations that may be required to justify the unit change. Once the request is approved at the department level, further coordination with the Registrar's Office may be needed to finalize the adjustment to your academic load.
To obtain the deanβs signature, please coordinate with our College Admin Assistant, Ma'am Christine Joy M. Villarta (Ma'am CJ), who is located at the College of Medical Laboratory Science Office on the 3rd Floor of the Lourdes Campos Building.Please be informed that all documents requiring the signature of the Dean or Vice Dean must be submitted physically to the office. Signatories typically require a processing time of 24 hours or more, depending on the availability of the concerned officials.To ensure a smooth process, itβs recommended to submit your documents well in advance of any deadlines. For urgent matters, you may follow up with Ma'am CJ or her team to check the status of your request.Additionally, be prepared to provide any supplementary information or documentation that may expedite the process. Once the documents are signed, you will be notified when they are ready for collection.
The College of Medical Laboratory Science (CMLS) Office is available from Monday to Saturday, between 8 AM and 5 PM on regular working days.Additionally, the CMLS Student Council Office is located in the same area, making it convenient for students to access both administrative services and student council resources in one visit.Whether you need assistance with academic matters or want to engage in student council activities, both offices are here to support your needs.
Students who have maintained exceptionally high academic standing based on their GPA shall be recommended for Academic Honors. The GPA of a graduating student refers to his cumulative GPA. The following cumulative GPA requirements shall apply to students graduating with honors:Baccalaureate, Post-Baccalaureate:
- Cum Laude β 3.00 to 3.24
- Magna Cum Laude β 3.25 to 3.49
- Summa Cum Laude β 3.50 or betterOther Requirements:
- Must have finished the course in the required number of years
- Must not have an incomplete or failing grade in any subject
- Must not have a grade below 1.50 in any academic subject
- Must not have any major disciplinary offenseMedals are prepared by The Registrar to be awarded on graduation day.
The semestral awards that a student can receive are based on their academic performance and adherence to specific criteria. The two main awards are:College Honors List:
- Must be a regular student with a full academic load
- Must have no grade below 1.50 in any academic subject
- Must achieve a semestral or term GPA of 2.75 or better
- Must have no major disciplinary offenseUniversity Honors List:
